Bertie’s start in life was tough—he was found abandoned with his two sisters in a remote spot near a lake, with no food and only the lake water to keep him going. It was sheer luck that Mihaela discovered them when she did, giving Bertie the chance to grow, thrive, and show his true personality.
Now, Bertie has come out of his shell and is full of energy, mischief, and playful curiosity. He loves to play and explore, and his lively spirit is infectious. While he gets along with other dogs, he can sometimes be a bit dominant, so he’d do best with patient, dog-savvy companions. He hasn’t yet met children, but gentle introductions are advised. Despite his high-energy personality, Bertie is actually okay with cats when properly introduced.
Bertie is looking for a loving home that can match his energy, give him plenty of playtime, and help him continue his journey of learning, growing, and being the joyful, affectionate dog he was always meant to be. With love, patience, and care, Bertie will reward his family with endless fun, loyalty, and companionship. 💛
